FIRST SET OF TRANSCRIPTIONS

Hello students!!

The passage you have to transcribe for Friday 11 is called "The Hundredth anniversary of the first modern English pronunciation dictionary" (2009) by Beverly Collins.
Only transcribe the introduction, "previous work", "appearances and sources" and "transcription system".

It´s taken from a paper presented at the "Phonetics Teaching and Learning Conference 2009" (University College London)

Please carry out corrections with a colour pen as usual and use the dictionary at all times.
Remember that if yor paper lacks corrections I will give it back so that you complete your work.

Please leave them in the "Phonetics" box at the Department of Modern Languages.
