Yesterday we did intensive practice for Tuesday´s make-up exam (dictation)
We also carried out a brief revision of the main concepts concerning STRESS-SENTENCES STRESS (content v grammatical words, main exceptions, the nature of sentence stress in Spanish)
At the LAB, students got in pairs and discussed which words took stress and which ones did not in a few dialogues (Sounds English). Then they read the conversation aloud, paying special attention to sentence stress.

We recorded the first four units from "How Now Brown Cow". The material is not right after the book´s cover but some pages after the cover itself.
