- You'll be asked to submit a Research Project on the day of the final exam. Photocopies of it will be left at Carpe Diem and Xerox Room Students' Union next week.

- You'll have to prepare Estuary English on your own as part of theory for final exam.

Mid- term exam # 2/Make-up exams

Hi everybody

Just to confirm dates and topics for mid-term # 2. Dates: Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th. Written exam will consist of dictation + Spanish/English allophonic transcription of plosives, fricatives, liquids, semivowels.

The second part of the mid-term test will be the oral presentation. No lab material and/or Shakespeare's tales will be included. However, the complete material will be evaluated in the final exam.Group list with dates and topics for Oral Presentation will be posted on noticeboard at Departamento.

The following dates correspond to make-ups:
Oral presentation: Monday 29th, 12hs (my schedule).
Written exam: Monday 29th, 2pm (Ricardo's schedule)

Oral exams again

As for the oral exams is concerned,everything remains the same: Tuesday groups for the oral will be evaluated on October 12th (same schedule) except for the Tuesday 8 to 10 am group. This group will be examined Tuesday 19th at 10 am as stated this morning since Ricardo won't be able to make it on the 12th.

Wednesday group (same schedule) on October 13th and Monday group on October 18th. We'll be covering same material posted for those dates.

NO SHAKESPEARE TALES WILL BE INCLUDED FOR THIS TERM! READ THE MATERIAL TO BE EVALUATED THAT WAS POSTED SEPTEMBER 15th!

I've just posted the news. Thus, our written exam will be taken Oct. 4th and Oct. 5th , Monday and Tuesday groups respectively.

As for the oral exams is concerned, Tuesday groups for the oral will be evaluated on October 12th (same schedule) except for the Tuesday 8 to 10 am group. This group will be evaluated Tuesday 19th at 10 am.

Wednesday group (same schedule) on October 13th and Monday group on October 18th. We'll be covering same material posted for those dates.

Written: Monday 18th at 2 pm (Ricardo's schedule)

Lamentablemente, y a pesar de mi voluntad para tomarles el parcial escrito, hemos consensuado con los alumnos que estuvieron hoy presentes, que tomaría el parcial escrito el lunes 4/10. Hoy quedó en suspenso la decisión respecto al grupo del martes. Sin embargo,ante este mensaje,confirmo entonces también que la comisión del martes pasará al 5 de octubre.

Permanecerá igual el cronograma del día miércoles para el examen oral y publicaré oportunamente las fechas faltantes.
