FIVE-MINUTE TALK

Procedure:



 You have about five minutes to talk about something you choose. Set a subject which you feel will focus the teachers´ minds and prepare it at home (See the BOX).



 Practise your talk and monitor your strengths and weaknesses. Work carefully on pronunciation, and indeed on language as a whole.



 A mirror will be useful so that you can observe your own lips and jaw position when articulating particular sounds.



 Speak out loudly and clearly.



 We will not interrupt your talking; however we will mark any pronunciation or language mistakes and will make general comments afterwards.



 On the day of the exam, bring this guideline with you.
